When I was younger I enjoyed singing in the school choir. I always enjoyed
performing in front of people. In 6th grade I took up the alto saxophone
which I continued to play all through the rest of my years in school. As
a Junior in high school I started writing my own music and learning to
play the drums. My senior year I persuaded my mom to buy a drum kit. Then
joined a band called "Draco System 7" as their drummer. Soon
after graduating the band broke up but I continued music in a Denver program
called "Artstreet" playing alto and soprano sax. |
| Where I had left off on the drums, my mother took up and
then pursued her dream of putting together an oldies band. She asked me
to join but it wasn't my type of music. However, I saw how much fun she
had and I missed playing in a band. In July '05' I joined the Whirlitzer
45's crew and enjoy being part of a band again. |
